Lou Mancuso started singing at 16 while attending Catholic high school in NY, he was in various bands and performed in his first "Battle Of The Bands" where his band took 2nd place. The following year, they won the contest. After high school, he focused heavily on music and singing. He joined various bands, and performed at open-mic contests, and recorded a few demo's. At 21, he joined a band that was previously known as "The Happy Tea Leaves." Under the new name "Veraspeed", he performed throughout the Tri-State area including a music conference in Nashville, TN. By 2004, a few local musicians from Long Island invited him into their group and they formed the band "VOXhound. In 2006, they released the album "Another Victim."
In 2015 Lou started the band Jet City, an Alt-Rock tribute band performing all over the tri-state area. In 2024 he along with long time friends of the band Torpedo started both the All-star Tribute to Pearl Jam as well as a tribute band to The Doors.
